Clock winds and runs perfectly. Has never been opened or serviced, straight out of the send home crate. Man who liberated the piece was a captain of the 101st airborne- a bomber pilot, hoping to get some more photos of him from the family. He also had a lanyard of sorts that went with the clock- not sure if it still with the family or in the crate. Many cloth and items of ephemera also in the send home crate, not certain I will be seeing those - but nice to know they exist.
