Hi all , came across this one , queens crown so post WW2 , question is what is it representing?

Looks like maybe a (brass?) piece attached with a rivet to some sort of pot metal base... it looks very much like the similar pieces made (ww1, 2?) with a kings crown or a croix de guerre- I would guess just a homemade patriotic piece. Maybe even made commercially? Not sure, sorry I couldn't be of more help...

Thanks mike , I did a google search and found a old ebay listing pic of a very similar ring but no listing details were available unfortunately ,

But yes looks like a cheap potmetal .

I would imagine there's a few from the Palestinian campaigns. I have a ring that says Baghdad 1917- it could be Anzac, I think. I will look through the threads and see if I can find it..

Only a small cropped one from one of the ring boxes... it actually reads "1918" not 1917. My mistake!

Oh boy yes it's hard finding Australian theme rings , I have a new one coming next week so I will do a group shot very soon , only have 3 so far , other ones of course are German and Italian variations .

Will start a new thread with some Aussie treasure next week !
