Hi everyone,

This Feuerschutz Long Bayonet is my second bayonet purchase.

I am very interested in hearing people's opinions about this one (genuine vs fake). My main concern is the gap between where the blade meets the crossguard (which would normally be covered by the leather piece). In my limited experience, this could be quite normal, so please let me know.

Cheers,
Darren

I am not the fire bayonet expert, but I like it.

I think you did well with your first two purchases.

Thanks John. smile

I'm planning to step into the etched territory at some point, but that step will be a very cautious one.

Darren,

This is the most common of the 5 distinct Horst Wolff marks. I agree with my collecting brothers, a good fire bayonet. Take care not to overpay however, as they are plentiful.
