Some years ago there was found a large hoard of patriotic cufflinks in different patterns from an old storage in Pforzheim/Germany.
Some collectors loved them, some other serious collectors called the them fake and fantasy.
Now i found a fitting advert in a period catalog.

Oh,,hey , there you go!! I have a pair [thanks to you!] of this exact pattern too! Many thought these were just too good to be true! Even had one expert tell me we'd never find an exact period advert for any of the pairs. - Well here it is.... Good work!

there it is! I very much enjoy seeing these period advertisements and also looking for and researching them. But they are very rare and hard to find I've found.
Buying rings, Odal and runic brooches and jewelry and Greifen kunst brooches.

Oh yes, you are right. In a large period catalog sometimes there is a little interesting stuff, but in some you will find nothing interesting for our collecting area.
