It is not originall hanger or irregular .The buckles are not proper and construction of belts is odd.To the dagger I would say originall but inspection in hand would be better. Regards Ted

There is an excellent book on Czech weapons called Czechoslovak Edged Weapons 1918 to 19536. Ted knows how to get the book. I recommend it as it is one of the finest publications on edged weapons I have seen. The book has numerous examples of the hangers. None of them look like the one you show. As to the dagger. the problem with originals is that the grip plates crack easily. Some people replace these and you can tell when in hand. This one looks like at least one grip plate has been replaced. Replacement grip plates are usually flat while the originals are a little shaped. There are examples of this dagger that are original and reasonably priced. Keep looking.
