Hmm, I bought one for $10 and sold for like $5 or $10... I read it. It's not good source or reference material. It's got some nice pictures though. Easy read, writing is ok- but I expected far better from a man with an Ivy League education, but then again... it's Craig, so, I really didn't. There are many better reference books on the subject - klaus pattwall, Antonio scapini, and don Boyle all are different but better than craigns imho. In fact, if it were just the casting theory that was problematic- I'd still guess that Martin tomans new book discussed here would be more bang for your buck- it's 800 pages filled with great pictures- I plan on getting one at some point myself. So I'd say yes it's a book, pretty low cost and risk purchase. But I'd save my money and buy one of these other 4 books.

I have all. Patzwall, Don Boyle, Antonios, Gottlieb and Martins new one. All are different and i think every one has its good sides Martins is real stunning from the pics. Gottlieb and Antonio have real good pics. Don i think one of the best writings and Patzwall has a nearly complete list with ring owners

Probably a matter of preference but patzwalls is in german (there might be a translated version) scapinis is in Italian, Boyles is in English. First one I think was either don boyles or klaus patzwalls. First one I bought was don boyles, from Andy (militarynut) I think he still has them for sale. You can find the others online- but I think they all should be in a reference library, including martins. I didn't need to see Craig's again, so I got rid of it- and certainly compared to the other two earlier books- I'd say it's the one I like the least, but again, preference. Some may be on eBay- or other collectors may sell theirs- ask around

Wow!, that looks very well done. Nice large format, nice big color photos, glossy pages.. Some publishers think good B&W photos will suffice since our pieces are mainly in silver. I say ********! When you get some time in/experience you'll be able to tell the difference between like 800 to sterling! [I pushed big time for proper color in my project]..
* Love the leather slip case? or cover? for it too! What does that cost??
Well, whether you agree 100% with some of the findings this looks like another good book for you HR guys or even read hungry PP ring collectors.. Very happy for you equirhodont, congrats..

Thanks, Gaspare, I'm happy with you twice. The leather slip case was tailored to the book and costs 60 Eur. You can order it together with the book... Is anybody here called Sheridan? Emails are returning back from him, so please, clean your mail box...
