It does not look either WWI or WWII German to me. I thought perhaps allied but saw nothing when I searched.

Hello ---dj--joe,OK I'll take it off the ribbon and put in the i don't know bin!I got the EK2 L/11 for a good price I thought it would enhance the value if it were a German medal added on.Thanks again Dutchman.

it looks familiar!,,but can't place it.. IF it looks like its been on there a long time I'd leave for now..

Here's one I've had a real long time. The ribbon is in the Austrian type. And the wide ribbon is actually ribbon from the Knights Cross of the War Service Cross! There is a crossed swords device on it. Looks German but I've never placed it exactly,,maybe/probably something from WW1 [?]

Reverse. Tri fold or Austrian type ribbon and attachment.
A real odd piece thats definitely 'been there'...
