I have never asked about these, probably because I never really wanted one. But I have always been interested to know if they are real or fantasy.... they're on eBay constantly, as the images shown here are- usually relatively cheaply priced maybe $50. My guess is if they were mass produced patriotic Mussolini rings, considering the relatively less desired Italian (vs TR) market, well- maybe they're originals- probably $50-75 (?) is about right? What do you guys know about these?

Mike, I've often wondered about these too. A lot of them look genuine to me, typical cheaply made Italian rings. Since the market interest seems low, I wouldn't think there are a lot of copies, but I'm sure there are some. I certainly wouldn't trust anything coming from the "usual suspect countries". I recently started picking up Italian rings, but don't have one of this pattern yet. I agree with Andy, it looks ok to me, and seems to have a maker's stamp on the band back.

Here is a different Italian type. Very common, and not as popular as a TR ring. They were made with a variety of insignia. Some are advertised as aluminum, I believe this one may be zinc. I know G has a similar one is his collection. This one is for the Italian Navy.
