this is my honese opinion on this skull ring on ebay made up i dont like it at all no quality what so ever probly made god knows where man they keep on trying hope all agrees andy militarynut

That sure looks like a date code to me. Here is the almost identical mark on a silver spoon I have. For sure not German, but it looks period made. I don't think its a modern fake. It's Norwegian, Danish or Finnish I would guess.

I wouldn't have put it period even if old- if it is, I'd say older maybe 1920s mourning ring, and not German. Also the ring itself is way too thick imho.

The skull looks very crudely put on, I don't think it's a reduction at all, I agree that it's a non German pre war piece.
