I'm trying to post pictures of a bayonet I have just bought. No sate on spine and unusual fron. Are these reproductions or real. Hope the pictures make it we'll see. Thank you, Ken

Its a good one S98/05nA Saw, end production of Anker Werke on blade rohlings of Henckels twin production, on spine should be the inspector stamp normally, when not dated and accepted, most pieces are reported from 1917. the frog is swedish not proper there.b.r.Andy

Thank you for the information. There is no mark on the top of the blade only on the bottom. I am not surprised about the frog. It has been on the scabbard so long it can only be removed by cutting it off. Will probably cut it off when I can find an original. Thanks again much appreciated, Ken
