I agree. The last one is a typical Frey ring of the last row of this pattern. Die has an defect on the area of teeth. All 3 nice and expensive rings.

Not too many out there! It's a ring that still has its price tag on it! These were sold by various makers/jewelers- then sized to the individual- some had upgraded features like "stones" (usually colored glass) set in the eyes! The tagged rings were ones that were, as I understand it -never sold! Came right from the store or factory- perfectly stone mint- the highest quality out there... beware there are fakes/fake tags! I know some had factory tags stamped some were handwritten usually with a moderate price on it like just a few RMs to be affordable to the young men who wanted one, bought at the PX or soldiers kantine- this however is only my understanding of it- I'm sure many members here can straighten out whatever facts I may have misstated (or add more details!) value depends on lots of things, but these are not cheapo pieces by any means. I have only a couple and want more- but I know that a rare pattern or upgraded piece with a tag can command a lot of attention from collectors.

Here's an upgraded piece (also a nice Frey pattern-) definitely a top-of-the-line ring then and a top collectible now!

That is a great ring. How much do these usually cost? I am trying to decide if I want to sell one of mine to recoup some of my money. If I may never find another for a similar price I might just bite the bullet and keep all three.

If you've overspent and have buyers regret, there's always buyers for these pieces.. but this is the ring forum, so quite many of these guys would probably be ecstatic to get a great deal on three mint pieces, or even a good deal on one.,, it's not the price so much we are concerned with here...it's the authenticity and the quality we look for.,,we do not usually buy rings just to sell them, we collect them, we love them, -and as Andy always says, we are "hopelessly addicted!"

Of my three tagged rings are any a more rare pattern than the others? It's so funny but I feel like every day I have a new favorite. The first one posted was originally my least favorite of the three but I'm falling in love with the clear large skull and the handwritten tag is very nice. I like the snakes and the typed tag of the Frey ring. The other ring has the least interesting tag, but it was my first ring and it's the largest so it fits ( I won't wear it though).
