The last ring i got in 2016.
Made very filigree in 333 gold.
Extreme lightweight and interesting 3-piece-contruction.
Band, plate and swastika are separate and soldered together.

That's the symbol of the NSBO. It's an early pin too.

These ones are a row of pre war rings and exist with different plates.
Mass produced with different onlays. Allways same band.
Yours is unpossible to date for me.

Thanks Mike, yeah I know. But that symbol is.. perhaps depicting Thor's hammer? Because it also has a gauntlet on the hand, and that's exactly as in the sagas: Thor needed the Gauntlet/glove because the hammer was red-hot when it flew back to him after smiting Giants! :-)
And we know how aware our German fathers were of THEIR forefathers, ie Germanic.Nordic traditions, heritage and culture, civilization..
Maybe it's not Thor's hammer, who knows, but I reckon it's a rather likely possibility...

Hi Andy and thanks, will do! I'm just a complete newbie in this and going slow and steady. My next original ring is on the way just now, and it's going to be the crown of my collection it's so cool! Which will make it a grand total of 3 originals that I have so far, HAHAHA! :-)

But hey: better late than never, and better some real fine rings that I personally adore and are special in their way than just any old thing, at least that's how I feel about it.
I AM still looking for a nice Edelweiß some time though, do you still have that one with book etc? What a special combination...

Hey thanks for everything Andy, God bless you too,

Mark

Howdy Andy and thanks this grouping is very interesting...
Yes for sure I will post my ring, probably under ring of the year 2026, since I bought it then (only don't have it in hands yet).
This ring is extra special I believe...very rare, ultra cool design, very good condition and thanks to Odal I even have a picture of a contemporary newspaper ad..
Can't wait now, I should have it here in a mater of weeks, perhaps days...
Talk soon Andy and God bless,
Mark
