To be honest, I'm really very much hoping this is a temporary situation for all of us, as Gaspare is the lifeblood of this niche of the hobby. But after many emails from G, and in the hopes that it helps create the space necessary for Gaspares authoritative book written on the subject of rings to finally happen, I'm humbled by the recommendations. Most of you know far more about rings than i, in fact I consider many of you mentors in your own right to me. We all know Gaspare needs a break too, so I hope we can carry the torch for him until he returns. You are all, still, in the era of Facebook and vk the greatest living authorities on these rings. I'm as honored as I was on day one in this hobby to learn with you and from you. Thank you for everything, gentlemen!

Mike,,welcome!
Next week I start breaking down the book so it will be able/easier for the publisher to edit and print. I can only do this part time as I have other responsibilities. Hopefully in a few months things will be ready to print and we'll see the thing in 2017 finally!
Some might be worried about our new Mod. Well first let me say the job does not mean the person is a expert. The job is that of a peace keeper, enforcement of Verns and Daves rules. And, to be an enthusiast! That for sure Mike is!
I met mike a couple years ago at the MAX. He's a collector like the rest of us and a student of the history, which is important!
Mike's a honest guy with no agenda other than collecting and seeing nice rings!
We have a great international membership here,,a home for us ring collectors. ALL YOU guys have made this place ,brick by brick, ring by ring.
Collect, contribute here, keep it going..

Thanks guys- I appreciate all the support and well wishes, and like you all - I am eagerly awaiting the return of Gaspare to the position and the book he's bringing back with him!! Piotr - LOL!
