Hello J\' would like to have your opinion on this dagger before a purchase. She helps me ' is offered at € 1300, I think that the price is correct. How about you?

Not worth it if you can drive a VW between the blade and the crossguard.
Perhaps improperly reassembled, or maybe a 'parts dagger'.

That is truly an awful crossguard to blade fit

It is possible the tang nut has been loosened, making the fit bad (loose). I would check to see if that's the case. If so, ask the buyer to tighten it and send photos of the fit afterwards. If the nut is tight as seen here, pass on it.

Sensible answer Grumpy, might just be the case of a loose tang nut !!

Hi Scott..the right blade shoulder point is touching the guard..and yet the guards fit the grip like a glove.

Im thinking the producer Boris Karloff wink
Since it has already been apart..a peek into the internal guard markings my shed some light on a near identity.

No matter what though..a dagger of this honor calibre..should fit alot more tightly.
