How about a shot of the pommel nut & closer view of the scabbard? Looks like an unmarked Alcoso.

I agree, it does look like an Alcoso. It's a shame it's been cleaned so much. Looks like the silvered fittings were completely blackened until recently scrubbed. The grip also has a crack... I assume no faker would do that. Can we see more of the blade? Hopefully it's been airtight in the scabbard, but more likely it's gone grey.

I have seen a number of items for sale only within the US of A. Thankfully, I have several friends in the States who I could ask to buy them for me and then transship to Canada.
I understand that selling outside of the country is a big unknown, but you do lose a lot of your potential market that way and may end up getting a lower price.
There are ways to protect yourself no matter where in the world you sell and ship to.

I agree Ive done it many times before.From what I understood the dagger is for sale with option no shipping.Guys go get it and post pics on forum.If is it real the price is fantastic or the seller hide one zero ;-) if would be a polish dagger I will think about ticket to us hahahaha Ted

Google the number. There's a thread on WAF that brings it back to Pawel Nowak. $600 for a correctly identified Diplomatic dagger would be wildly low, even for him.
