Hi guys. I need you opinions about this dagger. Is this combination from an early dagger by WKC with a generic scabbard OK? I have doubts about. Many thanks in advance. Best, Oleg.

Nice looking initial production WKC slant, but the scabbard is from a later period. Sweet grip! Best, Kevin.

Thank you very much, Kevin. I also mean that the scabbard from another dagger is. Has WKC generally used the scabbards of other manufacturers? I have always thought that WKC has used only own scabbards. Best, Oleg.

Yes Oleg, I agree, WKC did have their own scabbards throughout their Heer dagger production. But they did buy scabbards from Eickhorn when they had shortages (So you will see WKC Heers with the Hatchet head eagle guard with Eickhorn later type scabbards and bands).. complete with their trademark mid to late period single side mounted throat screw best, Kevin.
