Just bought this and want to make sure I am buying something from the 1933-45 period.

Cheers

Post war. Probably early 60`s. Use to see them often, but not so much anymore. Still a GREAT looking sword!

Most regrettably that's also my recollection. Fred

Gary,

I think your footwear qualifies as 1933-45 era if that is any solace.

Thanks guys, you know when you open up a parcel and you know there is something wrong but can't quite work out what it is, well thats what I felt, this is a classic case of me not doing my homework, I'll see if I can send it back but I doubt it as the description did not mention the period. Well see.

I'm sorry. I'm sure most of us have had that feeling and hopefully you can get your money back.

BAMA

Thanks but no need to feel sorry for me I go into every transaction knowing the score, on the rare occasions I do not do my homework there is always the fear that things will not work out as I hoped.

Easy mistake Gary as you wasn't even born in the sixties however I don't think anyone in the sixties would wear SOCKS WITH SANDALS you wouldn't have lasted five minutes in the black forest with that footwear.lol

Other than the like-new condition and set screws holding the scabbard fittings on, is there anything else that indicates this is post war? Is there anything about the trademark that so indicates?
Thanks!

Anything about the TM that would indicate this is post war?
