Not really...
Some of the companies are easy to track back in history becasue they were one of the major manufactures of daggers and some still do exist today (Henckels and Eickhorn for example).

Agreed with Panzerfaust ..this company is somewhat obscure with little background history. There are 4 SA gruppes that SA daggers were designated to .. Ho; Ns; S; Wm
Some of this producer can be found on NSKK daggers.
Other than that no other period documentation exists of this producer ..producing anything else. Regards Larry

Never seen only one blade from this maker here in Europe ! Now , they have perhaps changed their activity ... or their name as "Hubertus" did it ...

Nice one Oleg! Seems there's still a nice crossgrain on that blade!
Gruess,

Thank you, Gerry.
Yes, the blade is really good with crossgrain.

May & Vom Hau also made cutlery as in forks spoons knifes etc. This is the point where all my issues with how and why volume 2 of Anthony Carter's has never been continued by family or what ever the story is. We are left with huge holes. I used that volume 1 so much for cross reference and searches for hang tags I about wore it out. I think most collectors miss a lot of the hobby when the background is left void. I got questions on SMF and nobody to bounce them off of also a few odd maker markes on other items I found. We all owe Carter a debt we can never repay. Bret Van Sant
