DID TIGER MANUFACTURE SA ROHM DAGGERS?
THE ONLY REFERENCE I HAVE IS RALF SIEGERT "THE SERVICE DAGGERS OF THE SA & NSKK" HE STATES THERE WERE 16 MAKERS BUT TIGER WAS NOT ONE OF THEM.

I agree with Ron that one has never be encountered. English Collector Neil Jackson
( which there is a thread here on this forum I can not find at the moment )

states that Lauterjung - Tiger did exist..and would make for a great research project here on this Rohm forum..as I can seem to find the thread.

Thanks for the info Ron & Siegfried. I took little notice of the dagger when I saw it was a Tiger.
This Lauterjung-Tiger that Neil Jackson talks about does it have the same maker logo as the regular Tiger motto?
Interesting only one person thinks Tiger exists surely there must be a quantity remaining ground or partial to confirm this and as none have come to light I go with my initial feeling and agree with Ron & Siegfried.

Neil Jackson has not been heard of for many years.

That is not all bad as he had some interesting ideas about who made Rohm daggers that no one else agreed with, and he could never produce the actual dagger or an image w/signature or grind marks.

Is he still around?

If I recall correctly, Neal had his collection stolen at gunpoint. He probably lost his interest in daggers after that.
