The 3 prong late war were made by Assmann I believe. But based on the lack of detail, type of metal, and length of prongs, I do not believe that this is one of them. I may have one I can post for comparison, I will have to dig them out.

Most with three prongs are postwar, but this one might have a chance of being good. I'm not knowledgeable to offer an opinion either way. I have seen late Deschler skulls. apparently authentic, with the striations seen on this one. I surmise it s due to hurried production and lack of finely finishing them as seen on earlier examples.
