I don`t know this pattern, but from this pics it looks like it has a lot of pittings from casting.
Or is it a plated ring with areas of lost plating?
Hard to see on this pics - closer ones would be maybe helpful.

Come on this one is ground found digged out durring the exploration of the battelfiield near Stettin. This I was told by the owner. I have few more WESTWALL rings from this guy wchich are OK. I just do not know this pattern therefore I ask You for help.

I can tell you ,yes, it is a period pattern. The 2 members that commented are both experienced ring collectors. I've only seen this pattern with a silver content, and unmarked, so that might raise caution with them.
Ground dug stories are great. But it is not a provenance. My wifes cousins were some of the 1st Ukrainian diggers in late 1990. I've met many diggers, been to digs and helped out a bit ,etc. Stories are just that, stories. Some diggers blindly trust other diggers. They buy from each other, trade etc. When the ground stops giving up pieces weird things can sometimes happen.
The ring has to stand on its own.. Yes, some more / better photos will help as this pattern has been reproduced very well. We're critical and sometimes over cautious. We don't want you to waste your hard earned money or get a piece that will take away from the hard work of your collecting IF a fake.

Pittings all over - on this pics the rings look like in bad quality cast ones. So in this case again better pics would maybe helpful.

please correct me if I'm wrong here,,,these last 3 appear to be ground dug. Dug pieces usually don't photograph well, and the pits and marks are usually from being in the ground the last 70 or so years..

I agree - "pock-marks" from corrosion are very close looking to pittings from bad casting, so good pics are like always the key

Looks not bad and i see no red flaggs. Pic of the hallmark is real not good enaugh.
Well known period pattern made by the Frey Company.
Correct hallmaks should be punched in - the content "835", the manufacturers mark "F*" and a latin "Ln" in a half-circle.
