Wanted to show this Police haul that was found a few yrs back in the deep south!

The vet had this in a footlocker along with police bayos and swords!

I was contacted and bought the haul!

Its been a few yrs but thought it time to bring it back
and show how those vet finds happened!

Surprise that the heat of the deep south didn't melt everything!

Will need to find the other stuff such as overseas caps, swords and Police motorcycle crash helmet pics!

I show the inside of crash helmet!

It was neat getting all this stuff from 1 guy!

Thanks for showing Pvon. It is always nice to see these groupings of what a soldier tended to bring back.

Paul, I purchased the green piped Po. bergmuetze from you around 11 or 12 years ago and I've never regretted it, as it is still one of my favorite caps. I was a real newbie collector at the time, and I did not know how rare these green piped bergmutze were (are). Over the years, I've only encountered two other (original) examples. JoeW and Orpo both told me that they had never owned or seen one before (at that early date).

As I recall, this grouping also came with a couple of orange piped bergmuetze as well. What a nice haul of police items.

Thank you so very much for allowing me to own such a cherished piece!

Best Regards,

Marcus

What a treat to see these items again!

I am very glad you have the green piped visor still!

Wow time sure does fly by!

Yes there was more stuff! If I can find more pics of items I will post!

1st pic was a brown motor cycle helmet! It was nice!

Thanks for telling me you still own a piece of the group!

Feel free to post some pics of it!
