Hi Gerd Congrats again! on another find and a hidden mystery solved. Once you have taken enough photos to document your hanger,,treat it with a leather preserving oil and carefully put it back on the scabbard and leave it there!! All this should make a nice display including the photos of the hanger. Ross`s research is the icing on the cake! Regards Larry

If that dagger is not original Im done collecting !!!..from the overall patina of the piece to every single scratch thats on it .that piece screams genuine!!

Here is another personalized vertical hanger from one of my fellows. The name reads Gläzzel. Any info about the name?
