I think the pics come from a guy that was in recon. Most of the tanks are early and there is a good amount of alps. Some interesting ones like them standing with the panzer berets. Rail gun, armored train cars, blimps, and them ferrying light armored tanks across a river.

Without a doubt you could start your own museum. And it would be worth visiting it for sure! Thanks for showing us your impressive collection. Regards, Danny

I loved it as soon as I looked at the pics for the estate sale. I almost missed work for it. I can always make money from work. But when will I find another nice rbd bayonet like that again.
I always thought marked bayonets are undervalued. You do not see them that often.
I have a have more things to put up for pics and then I am out of stuff until I buy again.

That is a really nice bayonet!
Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. And remember the early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Belong to a soldier that was a engineer. Interesting they are using a flame thrower against a knocked out german tank.

Got this one yesterday. Extremely minty. This is how it was found in the estate with the ekii attacked to the top. The spange is not marked and the ekii is a 4. Looks like it was never used.

The ss flag is almost the size of my tacoma pickup. Now I have two ss flags. I dont normally keep uniforms. But I dont see to many paratrooper uniforms. I looked around to find the meaning of the skull on the jump wing but I cant find anything.

Love your Standschutzen patches. I tried to PM you - Private Mailbox is disabled. I then tried to email you - the email address doesn't work. If you ever decide to sell them, let me know please...

Hello. TITO was a nickname of former Yugoslavian president and dictator JOSIP BROZ TITO. He led a communist partisan movement in Yugoslavia during ww2 and was very popular at the time. Patch you have is a late war theater made insignia from some local partisan fighter from Croatian or Bosnian part of the country because of Latin letters in use. The patch DEFINITELY ISN'T A STANDARD YUGOSLAV ARMY PATCH and it could be it was worn either by political commissar or common soldier. Although it is a very nice and rare thing to find even in former Yugoslavia. I hope I was of any help.
ONLY THE DEAD HAVE SEEN THE END OF WAR.

Thanks Some of the items went to auction in the Midwest. Some of it went for sale on ebay. Some is slated for sale in another auction in sept oct. And I kept some stuff. All the daggers, guns, flags, groupings and some of the medals are being sold. I kept some of the medals, post cards and belt buckles. Daggers and bayonets are too heavy to carry around the country. As I was moving from state to state working in different casinos.

Digging the armbands! Do you have any story on the gray armband or the medic with the writing around the cross?

The gray armband was in a album from a member of roosevelts ss the 30th inf div. I sold that album on ebay years ago. The vet was a famous guy in the lehigh valley (allentown, pa) for doing children tv back in the 50s. I dont remember his name. I kept the nazi stuff that was in that album. I kept the captured papers with the armbands. The red cross came from a member of the 99th which I got his photo album which some of it I pictured in this thread. He was the cartographer for the div hq. Both armbands will be sold in sept oct.
Thanks for all the emails. But all the daggers, flags, insignia and other large items are being sold in sept oct in maine. I moved from pa to baton rouge then to mo and back to pa. All in a period of 6 months. Moving 30 plus banana boxes of wwii items was too much to bear. I sized everything down to 4 banana boxes of stuff. One day I will post what I have left. So if there is anything you want check out poulins auction is the one that is selling the stuff in the fall. Everything will have no reserves and if you want the history on how I got it ill tell ya.
