Hello,
I was wondering if anyone here has knowledge or info about mexican paintings, particularly those painted on amatl bark or primitive style mexican paintings? Reason I ask is that I have three paintings which I picked up at various garage sales. I picked them up because they were so odd looking. In any case from the little I have found online they may be painted on amatyl bark. Other than that I know nothing about them and hope some here might have more info. I have attached a picture of the largest one, this one does have the wording on it of Odilon Mauticio Ocampo. Don't know whether that's the painter or what. Any help is appreciated.
