Well,
the MAX is over and it was a great show for me. I met lots of old friends and met some guys from GDC that I had not known before. Several who were at the MAX for the first time.
MAX is held in Monroeville and the best of the three host hotels is the Doubletree, which is right next to the Convention Center.

The Convention Center is close. The forecast was rain, but it turned out nice.
This about 2:00PM, Wednesday. Drop off starts in one hour

Nice pics Dave and Larry! last year I've seen the Wittman family in a german newspaper. Tom brought back a shooting chain to the town of Rodenberg here is the video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTPQsBVwJtsGerd

Thanks, Kreta. I had not seen that video.
That was a great gesture to give the chain back to Rodenberg. The last they had seen of it was in 1945. A GI had 'liberated' it and it was hanging from the barrel of Sherman tank!

Jason Burmeister's impressive stand.
That last one is a complete tail section from an ME109 from Africa. You can pieces of tin cut out from planes but you seldom see an identifiable complete structure.

Dave, Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated and definitely warrant my second round of thanks. It's nice to get a chance to look back at our pleasant get-together. A lot of the ladies and gents that you snapped are not only "aces" in our hobby, but first class friends as well! B~

Now for Saturday. Not very many pictures as I found that quite a few of them were already covered previously.
To get good deals, you often have to be curious and ask sellers if they have a particular item
