Hello, whatever you wanted to express, the shown dagger including the hangers is a bad, a very bad fake. There is not the least doubt.

I am quoting from Robin Lumsden book Edged weapons of Hitler's Germany page 51 under the heading of The HJ Leaders 1937 Dagger"In 1938 during the highly publicized visit of a Hitler Youth delegation to Japan, some thirty HJ officers wore a special version of the dagger with a plain silver scabbard and white leather hanging straps.A variant was manufactured, possibly for bestowal on HJ generals of the rank of obergebietsfuhrer and above,or upon offerers of the Marine-HJ,to match the gold insignias on there uniforms Production of this elegant Fuhrerdolch ceased in October 1942.

Sorry, I still donīt understand a single word. Please try to write in understandable English (translation programms sometimes do bad work).
But I assume you want have judged the hangers too? These too are very very bad fakes.

Concerning these certain dagger: In my opinion there is a big misunderstanding which originated in "misreading" these certain, period pictures of the HJ delegation at Japan and I highly assume that there NEVER existed such a certain scabbard like shown here.

Regards,

Hi!
It is hypothesized that some of these daggers are real. I know in “Reproduction? Recognition!” Fred Stevens states they are all fake. The ones that have applied center bands on the scabbard do have a chance at being original. Being sellable is another topic though.
Best Wishes,
Bob

To thank all the people I have devoted their time:
I put my unique replica HJ Leader Dagger naked. I do not to have this happen again to anyone (I buy it as original and that means paying a lot for it) and because I have never found this dagger pictured in any book of pieces to contrast the difference between a original and one copy.

Thanks for sharing your information and give me time

tokyo in 1939. Note that some youth leaders wear the youth leader dagger
with white hangers and white leather or silver scabbards, while others wear
the basic "FAHRTENMESSER", also with white leather suspensions.(Right)

Brian [/quote]

Brian do you say that because I am Spanish .... My collection is
false ..
This dagger was purchased in Munich (As most of my collection) in a
known auction house muuuchoos years ago ... If you're interested I'll give
data from the auction house.
Thank you for your sincerity and regret that in the U.S. have this concept of
the Spanish.

125,

Spain was a well known source of German dagger reproductions in the 1970's or earlier. Many were made by a company named Marto. Those daggers were shipped all over the World and sold as real. Many were sent to Germany to be sold as "newly found". Auction houses were (and still are) favorites for selling fakes since the owner is not disclosed and sales are often final.

By today's standards, those Spanish reproductions are easy to spot because so much information is available on the Internet. The early fakes daggers are now looking older.

This is not a "U.S. opinion". It is held by collectors everywhere.

Regards,
Dave

Sorry, If you think that I'm making a personal jab at where your from. That is far from the case, I'm just going off the knowlage of what I have read in books. That it is mentioned over and over that a large amount of high end repo's are made in spain. Ref.book Third Reich Daggers 1933-1945 by J.A. Bowman Pages 356-367.

Once again sorry if you thought I was making this personal

Mars faked many
pieces ... but that would
fake one that was not poular
as a SS, NSKK, HEER, create
you leave him on account
produce a piece that does not
hardly anyone knows?

I know this book and the series of photographs concerning the japan trip of the HJ very well. Read the passage you citated very carefully. In my opinion and due to my best knowledge there was no "....or..." (obviously Angolia simply stated it from the blurry pics and did not know it himself) and this plain scabbard dit not exist.

I donīt want to go into further details to avoid to get better fakes produced.
