E-mail Dr. McAlvanah, the moderator of this forum and he can send you the McSarr list (one of the scales you'r looking for). I would contact Lakeside Trader to see if he has a set of the Fisher books available or can locate a set for you ( the other scale).

You see the Fisher books for sale once in a while here and on other forums (or, gasp, even on e-bay).

Depends what you are looking for. McSarr is a list of makers with rarity scale in points from 1 to 10 and it will not ruin your budget. Fisher Quick Reference is a thick book which includes lot of different, sometimes very specialized informations. Makers are categorized as "rare", "scarce", "common" and so on. The price is of course much bigger. I own and use both sources, but if you're looking just for rarity scale I think McSarr is the best choice to start with.

I think McSarr is the best for you, if you don't want to buy whole book.

I see Mr. 777 has a big family! Nice picture Adam.

Bye, Lukas.

just go to who's online (to the left of your post) , click on the name mike mcalvanagh and his e-mail address will be displayed - just tell him you need a mcsarr list and he will handle it for you.
