Here is my latest find. Its a early SA Dagger Gau marked Sw maker F.Dick with the TM running down the blade. According to some Forums the F.Dick SAs with the TM running down the blade are Ground Rohms or factory ground Rohms. I dont see any signs of the Rohm signature if this is a Rohm dagger, Also the TM is a little high on the spine does this have anything to do with a Rohm signature.I have also noticed there are three different TM for F.Dick SAs this one has a dot at each end of the TM. Any thoughts Appreciated. smile Regards, forton

Hey Forton,, That F. Dick is a nice find and the handle is beautiful. Not all forums are correct in their assessment that the (ALL) F.Dicks logo running down the blade is a Ground Rohm. Some are just like Eickorn,EP&S and the like. A trained eye will see slight wave running down the spine of the blade reverse. That is one of the signs that it was a Rohm at one time. Always ask questions no matter what. Even to this day the Pyramids in Egypt are still unsolved. Never be satisfied until, "YOU" have full understanding of what you are looking for. There are still so many hidden secrets in this hobby that have not yet been found or explained. Thats the fun of it!!,,, but it is a prize to the one who holds the item that the secret or answer is revealed to.
Like Matarese said its nice to see an early hanger on an early SA. Best to you..Larry

Hi Forton,

I have a F.Dick like yours and I can assure you it's not a ground Rohm dagger.

I know three diferents F.Dick MM's, with dots, without dots and transversal to the blade, all used in non Rohm daggers:

I had see only three F.Dick Rohm daggers until now, all three had the F.Dick MM like this one from Ron Weinand, without dots and nearest to the lower crossguard.

Very nice find your dagger.

Thanks for all your comments you guys never let me down. Larry the Dagger Grip looks to me like the Tiger Stripe style were the SA man would run a flame across the wooden grip to give it that look.It does have a very sharp appearance. The dagger is just like it was when it was taken out of a suitcase at a estate sale with its oringial hanger as you guys pointed out. Also a very nice SA dagger you have there Ricardo. smile Best Regards, forton

Röhm daggers have the trademark positioned very close to the crossguard (about 4mm)
