Here some impressions of a new come-in.
All opinions are welcome.

Here is a German Patriotic ring of a different sort:
This ring I am told was a German/Italian "Unity" ring and was given out to Italian visitors of note to Germany. Note the fascist symbol superimposed over the swastika. The ring is die stamped in three parts,as virtually all rings were in Germany prior to the 1950s. It was then sized and silver soldered together.
The box is NOT original to the ring and did NOT come with the ring and I am just using it as a convienent display medium! Therefore it has NO COA,EEC,POS and anything else certificate wise with it! I think it came from some jewelry exchange.

Jimbo, well the ring is 100% authentic for sure,,at least its not a rope box, no matter, boxes are way over rated these days anyway!

I had a long of thinking on this ring and now my opinion is it is made between 1934 and the late 30ies.
My reason therefore is the design of the band and the rifle the soldier holds (to see on the right side of the head). I think this gun is a Karabiner 98K.
But at all i am not real sure.
This is the only ring of this pattern i know. And it is the only glas-stone with this head i saw.

Very smart jeweler. When you resize a ring with enamel in it you will have a problem. If you just cut and make smaller/bigger the enamel WILL crack.
These strips are for makeing a ring 'smaller' fit for someone and works great.

Odal,very good ring. Nice old wear. Interesting to see how the band is made smaller inside. Looks like the band was milled out a bit before the extra inside band was placed. Perhaps the open place was already made by the factory.
I met a guy that had two smooth pins inside backside ..... Another way and easy way to make the ring smaller.

WWI, i had the same.

many of these rings with date 1918 on them were made way after. Usually right up to the 1930s... GD ring too...

I don`t know why, but i always thaught these ring got popular with the idea to get austria into the german empire -beginning 30ies.

Ok, here two other patriotic rings i got these days.
The first one, i think its Alpacka, has no stamp and i got from a friendly meber here - wolf100.

The second one comes from an auction is silver and has the "?35"-stamp (the first number isn`t readable).

Yes, this Bismarck-rings (Thor/Germania/different branches) are real nice ones with a lot work in it.
Not really rare, but if for selling mostly rather expensive.
I had a year ago or so email-contact to a other collector, mainly not rings, that has a weakness for that ring-pattern.
This time he had 3 of them. All in this main-pattern, but all with some little differences inside.
It would be nice to see your ring here.

I think my WW1 Patriotic ring is just like yours. The Verlobungsring isn't very often seen at all anymore. Have you seen this type before? I have a real weakness for these myself. Thanks.

Yes, Mikee, the outside of your patriotic Ring looks like mine.

And yes, i have seen the "Verlobungsring" before. It looks like made in the same kind as the patriotic one only with a different decors. On my opinion both are made in the same time.
The "Verlobungsring" is more rare than the patriotic. I have seen 2 or 3 over the years but never owned one.

I agree, imo both were made during the same period and I also have only seen a few over the years and had the chance to purchase them and should have, but didn't for some reason. Imo they are some of the best period WW1 war rings and real works of art with each panel portraying a scene. Thank you.

Maybe interessting. Such a "Verlobungsring" in gold. In the moment in ebay, germany.
