Hi from the pictures appears to be a late period plated example, however in the pics it looks as if the eagle might have been replaced. Could be a trick of the photos but there appears to be something going on around the eagle. cheers, Ryan

Hi if authentic that is a very good price. You can pick up NSKK painted scabbards for less than 300.00 or an entire dagger with a good, decent scabbard and crappy dagger for less. Than you have a decent dagger as a starter that is worth 1200.00 or so. I would get some more opinions and also would want a clearer shot of the RZM mark. Also info on the seller would be helpful. Is this an Ebay purchase or private sale from a reputable source? cheers and safe collecting, Ryan S

I would like to see a closer shot of the RZM mark also. From what I can see in the pic, it looks strange to me. Great price if it is real though.

The RZM mark looks Ok, but the SS runes look like a repro.

I agree, the eagle wings look too long and narrow for my liking

The eagle and runes just don't look correct on the bottom dagger, I don't know about the blade I've never seen one like it but that don't mean much I just started really taking information on SS blades. But the eagle and runes I don't feel comfortable with. The top dagger looks right to me.
