I have another that I didn't show in this assembledge which is attributed to SS General Bader.

Also, the above Rampsperegr ring was also a General.

Koschula was in the SD.

Magnificent John! Those specimens are a living history lesson in themselves. Do you have a dossier on each man?

Mark,

A few of them I do have their personnel files. A couple I've never ventured into any research.

John - You have a very impressive ring collection. However, I know that it is only a small part of an even more impressive and nicely displayed militaria collection.

Iain,

Everything has a price.

Although I'm really not wanting to sell my collection, as I say, everything has a price and as such, if you have a sincere interest, please advise me and we will talk.

I am a novice John, I haven't stopped thinking and am in awe of your ring collection. I was wondering between your rings, what price range do they cover? Where do I start looking for these tiny pieces of history? Thanks in advance. Paul Mann

Breath taking! I can only dream of owning one, let alone nine! Question . . . is the red and green colour I see on many of the rings in their individual photos, a trick of the camera/lighting or have wax casts been taken of each ring? ~ Ian

John,
Did this Latvian dealer buy your "Clement" SSTK?
It shows all the same markings like the gash over the skulls right eye.

Looks like he even likes your photo skills! Eek

serge,

I still have my Clement ring and it has never been out of my hands.

Absolutely for sure he has stolen or hijacked my photos and is using them on e-pier. The ring that he is picturing are my photos and not a remake. Look at the individual photos, back round, lighting and shadows.

As said many times on this forum, Buyer Beware and know who you're dealing with and always get an iron clad money back guarantee.

Another Scammer this time from Latvia.

He has a slew of SS items on e-pier which photos are obviously stolen from their owners.

John,
You know all the SS collectors. You might see something more there that is familiar.
Here are three more items he has listed - there are many more.

As near as I can tell this is a picture of the same ring I emailed you the other evening and I believe it says "Clement" on the inside with a 21 12 44 award date. The ad I had found is still apparentely up on Epier.

Gaspare,

It is absolutely for sure that the pictures that the guy is using to sell on e-pier is my ring. Mine still does have some of the green verdigris but some has been rubbed off over time.

Kris L. has cracked the mystery and has found that some crumb had pirated many photos from his and others web sites and was using them for his sales on e-pier. Subsequently, Kris has had all of his auctions rescinded. Kudos to Kris the sleuth.

Yes, "Keßler" and the "ß" stands for "ss" (2 "s").

Yes. It was a special section at hermann historica. Listed as pepera collection, really quite impressive. It can be viewed through their archived past auctions, but you have to create a login.

Hi Martin-
Mr. Don Boyle and I were looking at your website on my phone at the max last weekend...Gaspare started the thread here last week pertaining to your site, and that you were seeking info on one particular ring and that there is a book in the works? New honor ring book?
Mr. Boyle mentioned he'd seen a picture of a pile of rings, this must be it... Mr Boyle didn't mention whether these were authentic or not, nor did I ask, and I'm not raising it as a question of authenticity either- that's another discussion altogether...Im just curious as to what your site is about? (especially since we can't read Czech-) And the (is it) "Darovaku?" ring? What is the story with that ring?

Hi,
all the rings are authentic and 99% of them saw Don Boyle. Yes, I´m finishing with the new book on Totenkopfring. It will be in Czech language, but full of photos. I have 23 rings to date and profile of all 23 bearers will be published in that book.
For example:
F.X. Schwarz
Karl Ullrich
Herbert Schulze
Robert Gies
Emil Klein...

Take a look at this photo - Don "King Ring" Boyle with half of my collection wink

"Darovák" means "The ring which was donated" by Himmler. It is Czech slang smile

I want to add this here ,,so some who didn't know john will realize what a wonderful collection he had and was a good guy... Him and Joe W. spent their own money and had some of the first testing done on the HRs..

A short while ago here and on WAF there was much controversy about the HR. Don this, Don that. Craig that, this guy that. Extreme microscopes in the hands of those who could not interpret their readings correctly.. Rings are not medals/awards.. They are different in many ways ans the HR the most strange.

Thru Andy I met Don and became friendly...I respect Don,,he was a pioneer of the HR....

Todays technology is something ! Our dear Italian member/friend was quite adamant about Don is wrong, this or that is right,,its a new day.. Well,,lets just say they are both right, both wrong.. I found a small article about the HR with a tiny drawing and sent it to our Italian member.. A guess a little shocked but we came to an agreement... Maybe hes is writing a 2nd book about the HR?. But I made sure my period line drawing was small, not so clear, maybe missing something...

There are some nice HRs shown here to study. Those of you who have the 'one lookers' feel good and proud and hold on to them,,the market will get better and they are something special..... , enjoy and happy hunting, G.

Posting this here again to honor Peps collecting career.

No need to be a member there as the photos don't matter that much.. But if your interested in the HR construction 'debate',, I urge you to read the last couple pages;, thanks, Gaspare
