I just bought an NSKK dagger made by E. Schrick,Sohn Solingen. It is a veteran bring back which I bought from his widow. Can anyone tell me how common or rare this maker is? It has the letter P on the lower crossguard.Thanks.

Thanks RevY. I will get it photographed in a few days and post it. I only got the dagger tonight, and I am getting ready to go to SOS with a lot of loose ends to tie up before leaving.
The condition of the dagger is decent, with a somewhat grayish blade but a very nice grip and grip insignia. The scabbard has a lot of flaking of the black paint with one side being worse than the other.
With the dagger was a single decal helmet and a very nice flare pistol. I bought all three pieces although none of them are really in my main field of interest. The veteran who brought the pieces home was a S/Sgt in an artillery outfit in the Battle of the Bulge.

I am by no stretch of the imagination a photographer, but I will try to post some pictures of the E. Schrick, Sohn NSKK dagger I just bought last night from the fasmily of the veteran who brought it home in 1945.
