Hi all, I have a snow camo Gebirgsjeager anorak, which is missing the cuff strap buckles. Can anybody here show an example of them, and perhaps know where I may find a pair?

Johann, I am sorry I can't provide any pictorial assistance as my raid harddisk crashed in December resulting in the loss of numerous pictures. I think Mike Beavers camouflage book on the SS has some examples.. Otherwise let me know and I will look it up for you.

Thanks guys. Beaver's camo book has some references of reversable camo's, but really only one page (274), that shows the Mountaintrupp anorak...

Scott, Thanks for the help. I guess finding these loose is pretty tough to do. But at least now I know what to look for...Would an anorak be worn over top of a winter parka, or directly over the tunic?

Johan this may sound crazy, but try Manions. Sometimes they have those small things.
The Anorak was worn over the tunic.

Does anybody have a pair or are familiar with these? These are on their way, from Belgium. (and wow, if you ever buy something overseas that's over 1.5 meters, LOOK OUT)! They should add to my Gebirgsjäger mountaintrupper nicely...

Scott, thanks for the help on the clamps. I was able to find these. They actually work opposite what I figured. When you pull out on the tab, they lock. And when you squeeze the tab, they release...Is that right?

I've really been into Gebirgsjäger troops lately. Are there any Gebirgs collectors on GDC? Has anybody ever seen the proper snow back pack?

John,
Nice skis. It looks like your outfit is coming along. Look forward to seeing it when it is all finished. As you know, I collect a little bit of GJ stuff as well.

Hi all, I'm looking for photographic references of Gebirgejäger Mt.Trupp snowshoes. This is the only one that I have. I have seen two types of the shoes. Those made of tubular steel, and those of shaped wood with hemp and canvas supports, like these in the photo. Mine are this type.
