I believe the M stands for a depot issued tunic at Munich 1938?
The breast adler has been replaced at some point with an officer quality hand embroidered eagle..you can see the shadow of the original one above and to the left of the current bird..
Thanks Doug! Amazing and stunning collection ffmarko!

Thank you. I love it too . I picked it up from a "Big Lots' when a member here told me it was possible to get good deals on curio cases there.

It was the only model left and it was the Floor Model. It was missing a few screws so I got $10/15 off. $165-180 with tax. Came with 4 or 5 glass shelves. The bottom portion has a mirror for backing. There is a light fixture that hangs down from the top directly over the visor. I took it out though.
I was very pleased with the price. I had high doubts I was going to be paying less than $300 for the type of case I wanted.
I think it's beautiful and I don't think it would of came out the way I wanted it to if I tried to make it myself.

Hi, here is my recent acquisition. It has Wachbatalion Shoulderstraps and a großdeutschland cufftitle. Personally I've never seen any with GD cufftitle, could this have been done recently? The price was rathher low, so i doubt the seller did it to boost his income. I'd appreciate any comments on this waffenrock.
Bye, Jerek

Thia Saturday at the Kansas City Gun Show I had the great luck to find this mint condition Waffenrock and pants . The tunic and pants have the same unit ink markings : " St.II./A.R.63 ". The tunic has also ' M 36 ' and the pants have also " Lago-M 6 ' and ' M 34 ' , which stands for Munich 1934 and 1936 .

The gary wool pants have the red stripe down the side of each pant leg , steel buttons for suspenders , 4 button front fly closure and watch packet . Tunic hollow back buttons are hmkd ' MOTZ'. The shooting cord with 2 art. shells came with the tunic .

Another good option (cheaper but care needed)is through auction. There are several in Germany every year (Stauffer, Hermann-Historica, Landshutter Rustkammer, Andreas Thies) and I have bought several from them. Also Manions in the States turns up good things from time to time.
