Hi all,

I,m from germany and since a few weeks member here.

Here are some pic's of my Böker SS.
This Dagger belonged to Hermann Müller,I've got this piece in the early 80's from his family.

Hope to enjoy/Opinions always welcome.

he were a farmer,pre and post war.
During his time in the ss,he had done his duty,as an Guard, at an airfield around his village.That's about 7 miles away from me.
During his lifetime,he didn't talk much about his "dark-time" to me.

But I had talked with two other ss guards,in the 80's,and they told me a few things about Hermann and theirself.
Importend is that he wasn't a prisoner of war.
He escaped,when the US-Forces arrived,and after 8 month he returned to his farm.
He died in the mid 80's.

I'm glad to know him during his lifetime and of course,that i'm the 2nd owner of this dagger Smile

that is truly an amazing story. I am envious! not only about your dagger but to have the opportunity to meet one of these men at a time when thay were of clear mind. I dated the grand doughter of an ss soldier in high school and did get to meet him but he was very old and his mind wasent realy there any more. it was a sad.
your story and dagger are clearly unrivaled.
