On Polish auction is offered scabbard for sale please help to identify to which kind of dagger?Part of hanger was dig out with this scabbard seller said.

Guys with all respect maybe Im a little pathetic but phtos of this scabbard is like sign of the ages. When I imagine when somebody found it on the battlefield thats a mystery for me I know "mint condition "and another description but this looks like real history Wink. You can definately see the scabbard has been in the ground, but I'am not into collecting relics.

The fact that this piece was found, which looks to me like a GERMAN SA dagger hanger part seems a little odd.

Furthermore Europe's rivers, lakes and canals are filled with these relics!!! Its a shame they only have historic value.
