I know some of you collectors have
some outstanding navy daggers!

Lets see some!

Some knots have been on forever!

Many will show powdering from being on
so long!

With prices of SA daggers going thru the roof
and SS getting out of collectors range.

These start looking good!

Textbook doesn't work!

T.W. book is already out for newer collectors
and experienced alike to enjoy!

Whether you have those stunning Ivory griped
beauties, or Damascus blade dirks,engraved
presentations,or the extensive hand chiseling
and chased beauty ones!

Many different pieces for all!

Please share your thoughts and pieces!

But this one here is my absolute, one and only, favorite, even if it was postwar assembled. I got it over a year ago but I still can't keep my eyes off it.

That one is absolutely stunning Manfred and I don't believe I've ever seen it before! Cool
Did it come with the box?

Hey Jim: Thanks, but the box was something I put together using old boards salvaged from houses hit by trees during the last storm here in the Pacific NW. Inside is made from old bedsheets and a horse blanket. The boards are held together using roofing nails. and then the works is rapped in tarpaper to keep out the termites Big Grin.

Manfred:
Judging by the weather reports I'm getting; you've got a lifetime supply of casing materials on hand. Roll Eyes Hopefully the bedsheets wern't leftovers from "The Night of the Long knifes" Eek And for the Politically Correct crowd you'd probably better point out that no horses were harmed in the process! Getting the thread back on track here is an example in sharp contrast to Manfreds: It is a "Plain Jane" non maker marked example shown just as I got it. Obviously it's uncleaned and the scabbard has developed a purplish/brown patina
