Here is an early youth knife (not a HJ) with stag grips and the double oval serrated tail maker mark.

John, In my opinion, it left factory as a HJ knife and later got replaced the grip.

Ivan, it may well be.. but it looks to me like a variation double oval maker mark that I do not have.

This is the closest that I can get, but the ears and tail are still different...

Herrmann, I have two double oval serrated tail straight arm maker marks, both with the Ges Gesch. Now, I have to look for one without the Ges Gesch, go figure.

Dave, I know of two versions of the single oval, the difference is in the orientation of the ears and the shape of the tail.
