Thanks, Lukas.

Sorry, but I don't like the looks of it.

It is an SS-Panzer officer's cap. Sorry, I don't know enough about them to comment on authenticity. If real, it's worth several thousand dollars.

Looks good to me, the underbill has the cross-hatch pattern we all like to see. Superior and scrumptious piping has been verified by moths, liner has been taken out for comfort and the "crusher look". Bill may have been resewn, missing the insignia (like a lot where at the end of the war, it was no longer popular to be in the ss) In my opinion, and I have owned several visor caps, this is the real deal.

This is not a real Pekuro SS panzer officer's visor This trademark is not found in SS or Heer officer visors it is not proper construction in many ways the internal front stiffener is incorrect for such a cap, the lining is a political grade lining and not the lining for an SS or Heer officer visor. The cap purports to be un-worn (see size tag at reverse yet it has a name tag insert) Has interior construction of a wartime fire police cap definatly NOT SS panzer sorry cheers, Ryan

in my view the headband and visor may be originals, but the cap and pipping look too clean bright and new for 70 years of shelf life.
