Hello everyone,

Can anyone please identify the collar and hat on the photo. All i can come up with is that his hat in combination with his uniform is from Werkschutze (Factory Security). I am almost 100% sure the text on his collar says BL but i cannot find what that means.

this is the cap eagle,,and sleeve shield he's wearing.. And,,I'd say the same your guy is wearing..

Notice the collar tabs. They are all 3 different. Your photo, this photo, and whats with this insignia. The tab in this post I'm pretty sure is the standard WS tab. BUT many times factories had their own designs as we see in the photos. The sleeve shield are usually the same, the cap device same but the collar tabs can be different.

Thanks alot for the replies guys! I also noticed different tabs with the werkschutze and indeed factory tabs, but still am very curious what that tab is!

Gaspare is right. There is an infinite number of tab designs out there. Most factories had their own designs. The tabs come up from time to time. The real challenge is to find an original untouched tunic!
