Im new to the forum and glad to be in, but (as someone said before me), i just tried to make a new post and all that appeared is an "empty" post in the SA/NSKK forum? Im not really sure what went wrong ...? Appreciate any help and thanks in advance!

Maybe I should add the info that even in "preview", the topic does not show, even if I change it to whatever.

We are having a problem that started around the end of July/early August. Posts which contain German, Spanish, or other language words with accent marks over the letters consistently cause a blank post, as do many of the European keyboard special characters. Tech support has been working on it for several weeks but have not fixed it yet. Sorry for the problem.

Tech support found the bug. It's in the UBBCentral translation tables. We need to do an upgrade to fix it. Getting the information and software together now and will post when it's complete.

We finally got the new translation tables and they will be loaded in the next day or two. That should resolve the disappearing text issue. I'll post again as soon as they are loaded and tested. Thanks to everyone for your patience

A full update will take place in the next few days. That should resolve the problem.

Resolved in the new software. You may need to change the character set in your browser to see all the characters. An unrecognized character will appear as a diamond containing a question mark.
