A skull & snakes ring.
Trying to ID hallmarks.. Probably ,or should be Russian but I feel the stamp wasn't a complete strike.
Lets see what you guys think?
initials to left are AR or AK, either maker or district mint marks [?] , 84 on right..

"84" is a russian content mark. 84 zolotniki = 875/1000 content. The other mak should be a makers mark. http://www.925-1000.com/Frussia.html

yes ,thanks Odal.. But its a weird one,,or not complete..
Here's the ring and box.. They have been together since the late 60s the family remembers,,but they don't think its the ring for the box. I kind of agree..

the marks again. played around,,this is the best I can do for now..
Not surprised to see Latin letter as sometimes it was done. [it is AR]
- but the 84 does not look complete [?]

I am not East European but according to my Hallmarks book, any Russian silver past 1927 to 1958 a workman's head appears with the 84.
So perhaps not Russian?

Perhaps Estonian/Latvian. Seems there is an AR in a rectangle from a member in Tallin (Estonia). Silver marks

Jim,, what were you looking in , Tardys?
Mike ,,yes saw a AR.
The letters are fine for me,,either state marks, designer marks etc.
The 84 ,,well in my hands and with my 'SuperLoop' it still kind of looks like a stamp thats incomplete. Like there is more to the right of it. But even if thats true I don't see anything it would match.

Gaspere, I decided to look at the marks on my Russian Silver. I have two champaign style silver cups that also have just the 84, and a producers initials. This one is _A and I can not make out the first letter.
But, there is little doubt these are from the WWII period or prior and the knowledgeable seller was clear they were Russian.
Of interest, I also have silver liquor glasses marked 87.5 with workers head and dated 1955.
And one of the coffee cup holders with both the 84 and other marks and also Polish markings. But this would be prior to 1919.
I hope that gives you some confidence.

but I feel the stamp wasn't a complete strike. Stamp is complete. There was two bones at the begining and after soldering gap between bones filled up with solder.
